The Armidale Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra that began as the Armidale Municipal
Orchestra established in 1943. It presently gives approximately three concerts each year. The orchestra
often combines with the Armidale Choral Society, the
Armidale Drama and Musical Society and the
Armidale Music Foundation for its annual March choral weekend.

The Armidale Symphony Orchestra is affiliated with the
New England Conservatorium of Music.
A related music organisation in Armidale is the
Armidale Eisteddfod.
